Secondly, when you come across a node, even if you can't mine or gather it because your skill is too low, you can go up to it, right click it. This will save the location to your gatherer. A lot of times you may only be a few points below what is needed to gather that resource, this way you may get a skill up close by and quickly come back to the area and gather it.
2. Selling Materials.
Referred to in game as "Selling Mats" knowing what "Mats" certain professions need to skill up can be a great way to make tons of wow gold wow gold wow fast. Most professions outside of gathering profession (Mining, Herbalism, Skinning) require these materials to level.
Sometimes things like copper ore can sell more than higher level items because the skill increase with these in other professions is much steeper. For example, to get jewelcrafting from 1-100 you may need 150x Copper ore, were as you may only need 50 fel-iron to get from 275-300, this makes the need for copper more.
3. Get The Auctioneer Addon.
The auctioneer addon will "scan" the Auction house for all items listed and make a record of the sale of wow gold prices.
